IMAWA's Convention

IMAWA held its 58th annual convention in Lisle IL on March 15-16, 2011.

Scholarships Presented:

IMAWA's Doug Schneider Scholarship was presented to Stephanie Thomas, whose father is employed by Two Men and a Truck Kane/DuPage in North Aurora and Crystal Lake IL. Stephanie is studying to be a teacher for children with special needs.

The Doug Schneider Scholarship is named in memory of our board member Doug Schneider (Bill's Moving & Storage, Rock Island), who inspired the scholarship back in 1994. Twenty students have benefited from Doug's foresight, and we're proud of them.

Bonnie DeBatty is the winner of IMAWA's 2nd annual NAIT Charitable Foundation Scholarship. Bonnie will study nursing. Her mother, Judy, is employed by Glen Ellyn Storage in Carol Stream IL. The NAIT scholarship is made possible through a generous endowment from the National Association of Independent Truckers Charitable Foundation.
